Alonnisos can be reached from the ports of Volos, Thessaloniki, Mantoudi and Kymi.  Kymi and Mantoudi are the preferred ports for visitors coming from Athens which favors the short distance from Athens – From Kymi with the ferry “Achilleas” www.sne.gr  and from Mantoudi with either the ferry “Proteus” www.anes.gr   or the faster Seajet  www.seajets.gr

Alternatively, one can arrive from Volos by Catamaran or flying dolphin (approx. 3 hours) or ferry (approx. 4 hours 30 minutes).
